There is really no point in gambling if you aren't going to get paid when you win. I have cashed out at least 4 figures from each of the 8 offshores listed below in the last year alone. They are all reputable, financially secure, and highly rated by the folks over at SBR.
#1 Book: Matchbook
SBR Rating: A-
Bonus Offering: Free commission for two weeks on initial
deposits of 2K or more. Their reduced juice is however 1,000X better
than any sign up bonus.
Pros: Reduced juice, reduced juice, reduced juice, no-bullshit payouts, live betting, and competent customer service
Cons: Limited options on futures and props, more obscure events sometimes lack liquidity
Summary: The closest thing to Pinnacle. Simply a must for
players who crave reduced juice. MB is by far the top US-facing
offshore outfit currently in existence. Because they function as a
betting exchange rather than a traditional betting shop they sometimes
lack the exotic prop, first half, and futures bets that some books
offer, but they more the make up for this with their preposterously low
vig on sides and totals. I save tens of thousands of dollars per year
thanks to this place and that is why they currently receive roughly 90%
of my action.
#2 Book: 5Dimes
SBR Rating: A
Bonus Offering: 50% Match Play
Pros: Limitless options, reduced juice, strong management and customer service
Cons: Extremely low limits on reduced juice options ($500)
Summary: 5 Dimes may not be the flashiest outfit in the business, but
they are as solid as they come. They offer betting options on virtually
everything and more importantly they now offer -105 pricing. Their $500
limits on reduced juice plays are completely lame and prevent me from
placing much here, but 5Dimes is without a doubt the perfect book for
lower limit players who mostly care about the bottom line. The
importance of reduced juice just can't be overstated.
#3 Book: Carib
SBR Rating: B
Bonus Offering: 50% sign up bonus
Pros: Fantastic sign up bonus, very responsive customer services, fair futures prices
Cons: Low limits, no reduced juice
Summary: Carib is a very underrated book by my estimation. They
don't have huge limits as getting down more than a dime on the same
number can be difficult here. Still, they are a great book and their
50% sign up bonus with only a 5x rollover is a great bankroll builder
for beginners. Not to mention every visit to Carib is highlighted by
the eye candy that can be found in the right column of the home page.
Kristin, Lori, Jennifer, and Karla bring a smile to my waist every time.
#4 Book: The Greek
SBR Rating: A+
Bonus Offering: 21% cash on first deposit
Pros: Tons of betting options, decent sized limits, no limit collars, good initial sign up and reload bonuses
Cons: No reduced juice
Summary: I don't place much at the Greek because they don't
offer reduced juice, but I am always posted up there in case I need to
take advantage of the obscure options they offer. At the end of the day
they offer a solid starter bonus and will always pay you if you win
playing fair and square. A great book.
#5 Book: Bet Jamaica
SBR Rating: A+
Bonus Offering: 20% cash on sign up
Pros: Decent sign up bonus plus frequently offered reload bonuses
Cons: Limit collars, no reduced juice
Summary: The sister book of The Greek is great for lower limit
players because of all the bonus offers they extend. Again, they don't
have reduced juice so I only use them in a pinch, but they are a great
out to have.
#6 Book: WSEX
SBR Rating: A+
Bonus Offering: None
Pros: High limits, unique open futures market, live betting
Cons: No reduced juice, bonuses are rare
Summary: I love WSEX if for no reason other than that they
partially own Matchbook. Once more though, they give no breaks on vig
so I have no incentive to play much at this spot. Their open futures
markets is sort of a pseudo stock market for sports wagering, and it
can come in handy for hedging purposes. They also offer rake free poker
for those who are into that sort of thing.
#7 Book: Diamond
SBR Rating: A+
Bonus Offering: 20% free play
Pros: Decent limits, plenty of options
Cons: No reduced juice, garbage futures odds
Summary: They are #7 for a reason. Another financially secure
book that you have nothing to worry about with. I'd play there if I had
no choice, but since I do, I don't.
#8 Book: Bookmaker
SBR Rating: A+
Bonus Offering: 20% Free Play
Pros: High Limits, don't throw out winning players
Cons: Shitty software, no reduced juice, $60 fee for check withdrawals
Summary:
Bookmaker is BETCris' US-facing operation and is also in the same family as Diamond. They are a fine option that I have utilized in the past and they are very proud to claim that 'they have never thrown out a winning player'. If reduced juice ever completely disappears maybe I will put that theory to the test, but I'm not paying 10% a wager when alternatives are available.
